Dear Diary,
It’s been a few weeks of rest. I had been under the weather, recovering from jet lag, but finally able to come up for air and see the light. Speaking of light, while my apartment in Porto is undergoing a few repairs, I’m finding respite in California and let me tell you, what glorious light to relax and wake up to!
This international move has had moments of happiness and darkness, clarity and obscurity, familiarity and unknown. My way is being made clearer with every deliberate choice I’ve made or am currently making. This trip is all about finality. To say my goodbyes and officially make Europe my home-base. I’ve given my current employer notice of when I’ll be leaving, putting a date to when I will leave corporate America. Cutting the financial umbilical cord has not been easy, but that decision made me feel lighter. It lit a path to more expansive opportunities abroad and highlighted the myriad of ways I can pivot and bring all of me to this new chapter – my passions, creativity, and skill sets that I will use to sow into my purpose, instead of loaning out with no return on investment to my higher self.
So light the way, Universe. Shine on me. I promise to let my light shine, stand in the light, walk in the light, and rest in the light. I’m guided and comforted by the light I see in others, and the path you have illuminated for me to follow.
I reimagine my future being bright, and brilliant! I’m basking in the glow and resting in the reality of what that feels like, now.
